The Write Way
Short news, long features, profiles, reviews, SEO blog content — you name it, I’ve written it. My first love is feature stories. I love unwrapping people’s passions, heartaches and triumphs with a solid interview, then lovingly sharing it with the world through writing.
That said, I can tackle just about anything. Check out my work below.
Feature Stories
My feature stories and profiles capture people at their most compelling, blending sharp reporting with rich detail in a style built to be read, remembered, and shared.

UCF Professor Moonlights as Serial Marathoner
UCF Associate Professor of Chemistry Seth Elsheimer’s journey to running more than 300 marathons starts with “just a little farther.”
Chaplain has helped deputies for 25 years
It’s a job defined by hours of boredom, shots of adrenaline, tedious paperwork and blood-spattered pavement.
We Come in Ink
Daniel Wright leaves this world when tough memories and flashbacks threaten to overwhelm him. His landing spot: a pencil and a pad of paper, or ink and skin.
Book Explores Southern Identity…
Say “Waffle House” and you’ll probably picture late-night brawls shared on social media or stand-up comedy material.
Academic Pieces
I can also dig deep and produce in-depth 1,800 word think pieces with multiple sources. Here is my Summer 2025 story for the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC)’s Journal of College Admission. The story draws on experts, research and statistics to explain the rise of dual enrollment’s popularity.

Concert Photography and Reviews
Concert reviews and photography are a whole subgenre of content creation I discovered about seven years ago. I love the challenge of finding fresh ways to describe familiar songs, capture the energy of a live peformance and transport readers to the show. (And it’s a lot of fun!)
SEO Blogs
I create content that grabs attention and ranks, seamlessly weaving in high-value SEO keywords without losing voice or personality. Here’s an example I wrote for Goldcast, blending their style (yes, emojis included ✅) with clear calls to action throughout.
